Cave Story is a indie game developed by a single person over five years by Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya in his free time, It was released for the PC in 2004, and having some rereleases here and there, I only played the Wiiware one, and I loved it, so...why not draw something about it?
Here we have Quote ( guy ) and Curly ( girl ), I know Quote is the protagonist, and having Curly standing in front of him kinda takes away the feel that he is important, but I wasn't planning to put Quote here but I changed my mind and slapped him there in the same sheet of paper so...there ya go.
Done in 4 hours with photoshop CS4.

I like the style you drew them in. Maybe it's me, but I can't help but feel like a lot of Cave Story fan art tries to go for styles already done, but this one has a cool, unique look.

Maybe the game isn't that popular, so not many people dare to use other styles, but it's a great game, I just got to the final boss to get the bad ending ( Didn't save Curly )

It's the easiest one to find, seriously, how the hell am I suppose to know I couldn't talk to Booster to get the cool jetpack thing in order to save Curly? Can't Quote carry the jetpack AND the rope to save her from drowning?
And...they're robots, why do they need oxygen in the first place?
